Hi, I’m Joseph—the guy on the left (not the frog). My passion for all things nerdy started practically from birth. My first game? Banjo-Kazooie on the Nintendo 64 at the ripe old age of three. (My second game was Resident Evil 2, but we don’t talk about that. Thanks Uncle.)

Since then, gaming has been a big part of my life both casually and competitively. I’ve competed in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Tekken 7 at local events and even DreamHack. But my love for gaming didn’t stop at video games—it expanded into the world of tabletop gaming, starting in high school when I discovered Magic: The Gathering.

That was the moment my obsession with trading card games (TCGs) truly took hold. From there, it led me to Pokémon TCG and eventually to Warhammer. In short? I try to do a little bit of everything! It helps me connect with you all!

Beyond gaming, creativity has always been at the heart of my hobbies. I’ve been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember, so when I got my hands on an FDM and resin 3D printer, it was a game-changer. The best part? Painting the finished models and props.

But here’s where things get real. For years, I struggled to share my creative passions with the world because it wasn’t widely accepted. That’s why I created Forged By Filament—a space for artists, gamers, and makers who love TCGs, TTRPGs, miniature painting, and 3D printing. We’re building a community where creativity is celebrated and supported.

We’re not a brick-and-mortar store—yet—but keep an eye out. Big things are coming, and soon, we’ll have a physical space where hobbyists can come together, create, and connect.
